Long Beach City College serves a diverse student population coming from a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds- many of whom are bilingual. This gives the employer a wealth of potential candidates to choose - from the recent high school graduate to the older adult who has a wide range of experience, as well as veterans, disabled, and those who have been homemakers reentering the workforce.
