Career Counseling and Assessment
Comprehensive career counseling and assessment is available on an appointment basis. The counseling process involves learning more about your values, interests and personality, taking career assessments, interpretation of assessments and further career research. Students may schedule an appointment over the phone or in person.

Job and Internship Search
We regularly receive job and internship announcements from a variety of public and private organizations including local employers, government agencies, educational institutions and the nonprofit sector. Students can view online job and internship postings. Online viewing requires a student ID number that students can obtain at admissions and records. Students may also visit the career centers for more information.

Career Lab/ Career Library
The Career Library and Career Lab contains a selection of career related books, videos, and DVD as well as computer access available for student use. We have equipment that will allow you to view videos and DVD's in the center. The computers are equipped with internet access, career exploration software and basic word processing software. Students may use the computers for any career or job related activities.

Workshops
The Career Center has an on-going workshop series that includes a variety of topics such as Career Exploration, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, Job Searching and Life Management. To view our current listings of workshops, please view our events calendar. Students are encouraged to sign up in advance online.

Annual Job Fairs
Two job fairs are offered annually. The Pacific Coast Campus hosts its annual job fair in the month of October. The Liberal Arts Campus hosts it's job fair in the month of April. Students are encouraged to attend both job fairs as employment opportunities may differ. Please visit our events calendar to view exact dates and times.

Career Panels
Local employers and professionals are invited to share their experiences and provide information about a specific field or degree. Past career panels have included "What Can You Do With an A.A. in Human Services?" and "Careers in the Health Field".

Career & Job Services Center Orientations
We invite you to bring your classroom for an orientation of the Career Center. Classroom visits may also include workshops designed around a specific topic or access to resources and reference materials for career exploration exercises. Please contact the center in advance to schedule a Career & Job Services orientation.
