| Chronological Resume |
A resume is a personal and individual summary of a person's background, experience, training and skills. It allows potential employers to see what a potential job applicant can offer their company or organization. A resume is also a tool used to get an applicant the job interview.
|
| Cover Letter |
The cover letter introduces the job applicant and should always accompany a resume. The cover letter also brings attention to the applicant and leads the reader to the resume. A well-written cover letter often times get an applicant a job interview as well as the resume. The cover letter summarizes but never repeats the information in the resume.
|
| Thank You Letter |
A thank you letter should always be sent immediately after the job interview has taken place. On occasion a thank you letter may be enough to remind the employer about the applicant which can lead to them being offered a job. A thank you letter shows courtesy, humility and respect for a potential employer for going through the job interview process with them.
